ABOUT ME
Stephanie Braun, MA, LMHC
I see therapy as a collaborative process. It is a journey of exploring the different parts of yourself to better understand who you are and where you want to go. Maybe you feel stuck or overwhelmed in life and are looking for support. Through therapy we have the opportunity to journey together to help you move toward growth and healing. My desire is to help you find your authentic and best self.

I am a licensed mental health counselor with the State of Washington (No. LH60562672). My 11 years of clinical experience includes providing therapy to adults, adolescents, couples and families. Before opening a private practice, I was a director with Insight Behavioral Health and Eating Recovery Center. I have worked in a variety of settings including outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization settings, and residential level of care. My expertise includes working with clients facing depression, anxiety, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, PTSD, eating disorders, body image issues, sexual or emotional abuse, grief, loss, life transitions, spirituality, and struggles in relationships.

I have a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. My initial training is in relational, psychodynamic, and attachment therapies. Over the years I have also received extensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, and Radically Open-DBT. Additionally, as a certified yoga instructor, I value the power of the mind-body connection and how movement and mindfulness can assist in healing.
If you are curious to hear more, I welcome you to reach out for a free 15 minute consultation. I look forward to working with you.
